I was recruited to work in Financial Services by a manager who disabused me of my notion that the job involved 'flogging life insurance' and was instead about 'changing lives'. This happened more than 20 years ago and it followed a exciting four years in the Intelligence Corps and a degree as a (barely) mature student.

Since then I have looked after a lot of clients, many of whom are still with me after all these years. My hope and belief is that through my work I have changed a few lives for the better.

I am proud to say that since 2004 I have been a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, and in 2014 I was appointed a Senior Partner Practice. I am always striving to keep my knowledge up to date, to provide the most accurate advice possible. In addition to the having all the exams I need to be a qualified adviser, I have undertaken a very important additional exam to become Chartered and a Fellow of the PFS.

Outside my work I engage in many hobbies, this includes riding, walking (usually involving big hills) and cycling (ditto!) to raise money for the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation. To see a diary of my latest adventure please go to the Charity News.

Carol Fletcher, PA and Practice Manager

Carol is the liaison between clients and St. James's Place. From the comments we receive from clients, she provides a friendly and personable first point of contact for most enquiries. She also ensures that all the administration associated with your investments is dealt with smoothly and efficiently and that clients receive the level of service that they desire.

Sally Payne, Marketing & Administration Assistant

Sally assists Carol with making appointments and client administration. Her remit is to ensure that the diary is always busy. We can tailor our service to suit your needs and understand that there are times in your life when you need frequent contact and others when an intermittent service is required. Sally also organises regular and ad hoc events for clients.

Margaret Hutchinson, Admin Assistant

Margaret provides administrative support within the team, helping prepare for meetings. She is also responsible for ensuring all documents are scanned and attached to digital client files for future reference and for maintaining digital records.

Jackie Baily, Secretary

Jackie's secretarial services support the smooth running of the office and ensure that client contact is as efficient and effective as possible.
